Engine details: As I remember it was the original 340 hp motor and basically untouched as this was in 1969 with about 30,000 mi. on it.
Other details: From the photo you can see period stlye mags with redline tires and a Teeth
grille setup rather than the std. mesh type. A neat look in that era. that I believe was done by a custom body shop friend of the Black's. Other than that, all else was stock.Looked great and ran great execpt in street racing.

Car history:
Bought car from the Black family of London On. in Aug. 1969 for $ 1500.00
I already owned a new 68 conv't and wasn't pleased with it and wanted to go back to older stuff that was easier to buy and sell. Although this car was way faster than the 68-327/300hp car, it was no match for the 67 -427/435hp car
I traded on the new 68. Our group was into going fast back then and I wanted to get back on track. In Sept. I sold the 68 and in Oct. I traded the 62 even for a 63 SWC VIN 30837S11803 Daytona blue/blue-340/4sp car.
If anyone reading this knows of any of these cars, I have doc's and photos
for the current owners as well as many others.
